Scarf Necklaces

A scarf necklace ties the softness of fabric to the shine of a pendant. Knotted ribbons in bohemian paisley, turquoise and orange prints, or slender braided cords in navy, white and orange, carry gold-toned pendants: ribbed hearts, enamel seashells in blue and purple, a spiral, an openwork rose, and small charms such as a starfish, a clover and a butterfly.

Because the ribbon is the chain, the necklace sits lightly against the skin. Wear one with a linen shirt or a summer dress when a metal chain would feel too formal. Each piece is photographed on a model and in the studio so you can see the tie and the drape.
